September 11th

My experience of September 11th was a roller coaster ride for my family. I remember the day before the 11th my house had burnt down so my family and I had gone to Lake Oswego to stay in a Hotel for a couple weeks. The next day my siblings and I were getting ready for school when I had turned on the TV and the news was on every channel. I yelled for my dad to fix the tv because I was upset there were no cartoons on. My dad came and looked at the television and had called all my 6 siblings and my mom down to the living room and me being in first grade I wasn't exactly sure what was going on, but my mom started to cry and so did my older siblings and then I knew something was wrong. Later that day I had gone to school late, because we got to watch the news all morning and when I arrived at school everyone was talking about it, the teachers were crying, alot of students didn't go to school. 9/11 didn't really effect me in any way but I remember as I grew older how it effected many people in our nation and that they had lost someone or even many people. It was just a really sad day and no one will forget it.
