Cheerleading

I cheer for West Coast Extreme Cheer. A international cheerleading team that travels from state to state to compete for the top prize. In April my team got invited to go to Championships at Disney Land in California. So it being my first time at Disney I was beyond the point of excited.

We left a Thursday and got home on Tuesday. So Thursday was check in day for all the girls and boys and our time to relax to compete in the morning... The next day we all got up at 6 am and did our hair, our makeup, and went out to breakfast. So now its 7 and we all got on our shutter buses and drove to the L.A Convention Center. We got there and there was more then 5 thousands cheerleaders there so you knew it was a huge deal.

Later the day my team had competed and so did the other teams. Each team had to be placed first to be a runner up for the Championship Trophy. The next day we all had to compete again, and after each division competed the judges would announce what place you got. When the judge announced first place for Senior 5 all stars he had announced "West Coast Extreme Senior 5." The girls on my team jumped and screamed and cried. So Friday we had to compete three times and we got first place each time.

Saturday & Sunday was a day for us cheerleaders to play at Disney Land, and the cool thing about going there that day Disney had shut down the park just for us cheerleaders so there were no lines for anything it was perfect! After riding almost every ride there, I would have to say my favorite ride was a Buzz Lightyear. The ride was scary but fun at the same time. You would be in the cart in a tunnel circle what looks like space then out of the blue it would be pitch dark and there were sharp turns that jerked you one way then the other and this went on for about 5 minutes. The best ride ever!

Monday came rolling around and we had to competed some more so we did the same thing we had done Thursday and Friday. The day was finally over and every single cheerleader so all 5 thousand were holding hands and waiting nervously and impatiently. We waited and waited some more finally the judges got through all the places and when they were going to announce the first place Championship winner, my team squeezed our hands, closed our eyes, and prayed..... "WEST COAST EXTREME SENIOR 5!!!!" When the judge said that all the water works started happening. My team ran up on to the stage and grabbed our 6 foot trophy and our other prized, we got our picture taken more then million times, well at least that's what it felt like. Winning that trophy was the best feeling in the world and I would die to relive that feeling everyday!

This Be the Verse.

This poem is about how your parents put negative energy on you and how all there faults are on you. The parents are screwed up and its also saying that you should get out as fast as you can and don't have kids so that they wont be in the same position as you.
I think the author wrote it because he had gone through this growing up and wanted to let others get out fast as they could so they won't have to go through the pain and suffering.
I like this poem because it was the easiest for me to understand and it was the shortest and it kind of is similar to my life. I moved out of my parents house from all the negative activities and all the pain.

Lyrics to Tonight by Fm Static

I like the song Tonight by FM Static so much because I can feel it on my own life. It tells a story about longing for a lost love. It is sad and made me feel how much it would hurt to lose someone so dear to you. I sing this song in the car with my boyfriend Cody and everytime we sing it I always think about how lucky I am to have someone so close to me that loves me so much. Lastly, it made me appreciate more the people who are still in my life and never stopped loving me despite my lapses and imperfections.

Family Tradition.

A family tradition I enjoy is every Saturday of each month we would go up to Washington and go to Wild Waves. It was fun going to Wild Waves because I had all six of my siblings there and we all get along very well. Going to Wild Waves is a blast! There are two sections of Wild Waves one side has all water rides and a huge pool and the other side there are the dry rides like roller coasters and the food court is there to. One of my favorite ride at Wild Waves would probably have to be the extremely long and steep slide. There are two slides next to each other and my sister and I always go at the same time to see who would get to the bottom first, and she would always win because I'm afraid that I will fly off the sides if I go to fast.

Never again

A place I will never go again will probably have to be Circus Circus in Las Vegas, Nevada. The reason why I won't go back there is because during Halloween they have over 30 haunted houses, not saying I'm scared because I love to get scared but when I went to a certain haunted house it was beyond the point of a bad dream. You walk in and its all 3-D circles popping out at you and there are people wearing the same design as the circles so you can't see them. And while your walking through thinking there's nothing going to happend someone out of the blue grabs your feet or around your waist and it's the most horrible feeling in the world. I cried like a baby.
So ever since that haunted house I never went back there again.
